About me

Hi, I’m Sneha - a visual communication designer, illustrator and science communicator based in Bristol, UK.

Hi! I’m Sneha (pronounced SNAY-ha and meaning affection or friendship), a multidisciplinary storyteller and science communicator based in Bristol. I thrive on making complex ideas engaging through film, podcasts, illustration, design, and by writing features, news reports and other types of content.

You can explore some of my recent video work here, sound work here, visual design work here, and written work here. You can see my published work as an author and illustrator of children’s books here.

I’ve worked across advocacy, multimedia production, illustration, and copywriting. I hold a BDes in Visual Communication Design and recently completed an MSc in Science Communication at UWE, driven by a lifelong love of science and a belief in its power to galvanise positive change.

I can support science communication projects by understanding what needs to be communicated, to whom, and find the best ways to do it, including putting together effective teams where necessary, and giving creative direction to the project.

My MSc research project looked at the intersection of storytelling and informal science settings, and I wrote my thesis in 2024. You can read a brief summary of my research findings here.

If you’d like to explore how I can support your project, or just want to chat about an idea, I would be delighted to hear from you!
